This is our third time participating in the CBC music contest and we decided to cover “Knocking at the Door” by the Canadian group, The Arkells. Having participated in this challenge before, we went into it focusing on having fun and collaborating with each other instead of on the competition. We are a group of 10 kids from London, Ontario. Prior to this project, our relationship was already quite close due to us all being students of a very small French first-language school, École Secondaire Gabriel-Dumont. While working on our cover, we learned a lot about one another and became even closer. Our group, called “Arkengers: Infinity Door” gained a lot through the CBC contest, as friendships were created, we learned a lot about music, and we simply had fun. We hope that you enjoy our cover!
