
Shared from my #HoloLens. Cylinder fitting to the HoloLens spatial mapping points (vertices) of the cylindrical wall-corner of our office. To note is that the inlier points cover only a quarter of the cylinder. All other points are outliers and act as noise & disturbance. Because the radius, postion, pose, top, and bottom of the cylindrical wall-corner is known now, photos & videos can be mapped (displayed) onto the real object surface: A virtual ad-poster or video can be displayed onto the real cylidrical wall.
